interim -> this is our working notice. Everything on it is true today. A fuller version is being finalised; when it changes, the date above changes.
Who we are
Euforyc Social, a women’s social club based in London, is the data controller for the information described here. Our registered company details will be added to this page when the full notice is published. Until then, and after, the person to write to is hello@euforycsocial.co.uk.
What we collect, and why
When you join the list: your email address, plus where you came from — the campaign tags in the link you followed, the referring site and the page you landed on — so we know which post brought you.
When you claim something you won on the desk: the same, plus which level you reached and which version you played, so we can honour it. It goes on the same list — there is no code, we simply honour it when you book.
When you apply for membership: your first name, your email, your Instagram handle if you give one, and your answers to a short form — how you heard of us, what a getaway or a retreat could comfortably cost you, rooming, when you can get away, what you are here for, and what you are hoping to find. Nothing on that form is sensitive, and you tick a line agreeing to us keeping the answers to read your application and, if it is a yes, to run your membership.
When you apply for a retreat: the same identity details and your answers to that trip’s questions. One of them asks, optionally, about injuries, health conditions and dietary requirements. That is health information, and we hold it only with your explicit consent, given by ticking the box next to the question, so that the hosts can look after you on the trip.
When you open your private status link: nothing new. The page shows you your own application’s state.
When you sign in to the members area: your email, to find your membership and send you a one-time link; then a session so you stay signed in for 30 days. The area shows you your own first name, when you became a member, your rate and your status — nothing about anyone else.
When a membership application is accepted: a members record — your name, your email, the state of your membership (accepted, active, paused, ended) and, once you activate it, the identifiers Momence gives your account and your subscription so we can keep that state true. Your card and your payments live with Momence, never here.
Lawful bases
The list: your consent — you asked to hear from us, and you can stop at any time. Either application: the steps you ask us to take before any contract, and our legitimate interest in curating a small group. The membership itself: our contract with you. Health information: your explicit consent, given at the moment you write it.
Where it is kept
In a database hosted in London (Supabase, eu-west-2). Emails are sent through Resend from Ireland. The website runs on Vercel with its server functions in London. Cloudflare provides the human check on our forms and plays the films in the album; it receives your IP address and browser signals for those purposes and nothing else from us.
How long we keep it
Health and dietary answers are deleted automatically twelve months after you apply. The deletion runs on a schedule inside the database and leaves a record that it happened.
The rest of an application, of either kind, and your place on the list, are kept until you ask us to delete them. We are setting a fixed retention period for these as part of the full notice, and this page will say what it is. Whether or not that has happened, an email to hello@euforycsocial.co.uk removes you.
Who else sees it
The services that run the site — Supabase, Resend, Vercel, Cloudflare, and Sentry for error reports — each acting on our instructions, and nobody else. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for anyone’s marketing.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, take a copy of it, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to hello@euforycsocial.co.uk and a person will deal with it. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
